Good morning all! Happy Monday!
Can you believe September arrives tomorrow!!?? I’m not ready to think about really cold temperatures or that dreaded S word that makes everything white. I’m just not ready.
It’s been a manic week. My kids start back to school a week from tomorrow and the last minute check list is done and everything is organized. I have a feeling we’ve missed something though and the first day back will be when we realize we have.
Thanks to being sick over this past weekend, things are crazy for today. Lots of things to catch up on. And this week is nuts as my Son #1 heads back to full length football practices and he’s also on the leadership team so I will be Chauffeur Mom quite a bit this week. But I’m so proud of him for being on the leadership team, helping those new kids coming into grade 9 and helping them through the first few months of high school.
Okay, so what’s ahead?
Book News this week — The WIP is shaping up very nicely. Almost finished!! I’m looking forward to writing The End on this one. I have a wolf shifter I want to write next!!
My Latest Release: FIGHTING FOR HONOR released last week and it’s doing well on Amazon etc. I was thrilled find out yesterday that it was a STAFF PICK from Lori at All Romance Ebooks, and has received a Silver Star as well, for a bestselling status. I’m pretty thrilled about it, and love that my first shifter is being received so well!! Here it is at aRe … with a pretty staff pick logo & the silver star *g* — HERE
Movie Mention this week – While I was sick over the weekend, I did a marathon with the ROCKY movies. Not # 6 — Sylvester should never have made that one — but the first 5 were awesome to watch all over again. Brought back memories of my Dad as well, they were some of his fave movies.
Reading Mention this week – I have to recommend WHAT LOLA WANTS by JoAnne Kenrick. I read it through many stages of the process, JoAnne did many editions/revisions of the story and it released this past week. It’s a fabulous and fun story that warms the heart. Be sure to check it out — HERE.
